Lasting Culture Change Starts at the Top.

Trauma-Informed Leadership to foster psychological safety and inclusion.

“I partner with you to design trauma-informed strategies that drive meaningful, measurable change—for your people, your communities, and your organisation.”

Wiebke is an experienced psychologist with nearly two decades of experience in organisational consulting, psychological assessment, and people leader development. She has led individuals through trauma and implemented leadership and wellbeing strategies in complex systems. Over time, her passion has deepened for creating psychologically safe cultures where people, communities, and organisations can flourish.

She’s especially interested in the role of leadership in shaping psychologically safe cultures and helping people thrive—particularly in high-stress, high-stakes environments—through Trauma-Informed Leadership.

The Why

This work began when Wiebke was a therapist in a hospital in Germany, where she saw frontline workers expected to provide trauma-informed care without receiving that support themselves. This gap sparked her deep commitment to creating psychologically safe cultures.

Over years of corporate consulting, she witnessed compassionate leaders transform their teams by leading with care. She also saw leaders silently carry trauma—including one who struggled with guilt after a staff member’s suicide—highlighting the impact when organisations fail to support those who lead.

Wiebke believes that by creating more trauma-informed, mentally healthy leaders and organisations, we can begin to change these systems and build communities that are more connected, compassionate, and better equipped to navigate the complexities of life.

The Approach

Wiebke works with businesses to address their unique concerns—building internal knowledge and resources and finding tailored, achievable solutions.

With qualifications in psychosocial risk management, she has a solid understanding of WHS regulations and translates those into practical safety solutions. Drawing on years of experience in assessment and data-driven evaluation, she measures impact to ensure the solutions are effective and sustainable.

Wiebke partners with organisations that are serious about looking after their employees’ mental health and is dedicated to making the necessary changes for a more supportive workplace culture—starting from the top.

  • Tools to monitor and track progress and set future goals.

Leaders Set The Tone

A study published in The Lancet Psychiatry (2017) found that training managers to have mental health conversations led to a 90% reduction in sickness and ill-health costs. Another study (UKG, 2023) reported that 69% of employees see their manager as the biggest influence on their mental wellbeing—more than doctors or therapists.

  • TILT explores how authentic leadership fosters psychological safety and inclusion.

Aligning Risk Management With Genuine Care

A recent study (Greenberg, 2025) found that poor leadership was linked to a 6% PTSD rate, while strong, effective leadership reduced that rate to just 0.6%. Another study highlighted that it’s often not the traumatic content of the job that causes the most harm—but the context it happens in. Poor leadership, lack of support, and toxic team dynamics can be more damaging than the critical incidents themselves (Morash et al., 2021).
